Board a tender for a short transfer (30–45 minutes) to the cruise. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome drink while the Cruise Manager provides safety guidelines and outlines the program.

13:00 | Lunch on board
Savor a delicious lunch as the cruise sets course for Lan Ha Bay – a quieter, untouched extension of Halong Bay. The route passes remarkable landmarks such as Finger Islet, Candle Islet, and countless limestone pillars.

15:30 | Activities at Tra Bau
Visit the Tra Bau area for kayaking and swimming. This spot gained international fame as a filming location for Kong: Skull Island (2018).

17:00 – 18:00 | Sunset Gathering & Cooking Demonstration
Return to the ship for sunset viewing and a hands-on cooking session. Relax with Vietnamese tea or coffee on the sundeck, enjoy the “Happy Hour” (buy 2, get 1 free), and learn how to prepare traditional fried spring rolls under the guidance of the chef.

19:00 | Gala Dinner on the sundeck (weather dependent)
Delight in a candle-lit dinner showcasing Vietnamese specialties in an open-air setting (weather permitting).

20:00 – 23:00 | Evening Highlights
After dinner, soak up the calm night scenery of Lan Ha Bay. Guests can join cultural performances such as the bamboo dance and “Footsteps of Heritage” costume show, enjoy cocktails at the Sky Bar (extra charge), indulge in a complimentary herbal foot bath (1 set/room), book a massage (extra charge), or try squid fishing. The cruise will anchor overnight in a tranquil area.

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – HALONG BAY – HANOI

Begin the day with a revitalizing Taichi session on the sundeck while enjoying the serene morning views. Sunrise lovers are encouraged to wake up around 5:30 – 6:00, with staff assistance if needed.

06:30 – 07:00 | Light Breakfast
Start the morning with tea, coffee, and pastries as the cruise makes its way to the next destination.

07:15 | Transfer to Quan Y Cave
Disembark by tender at Gia Luan Port, then continue by car (20 minutes) to Quan Y Cave.

08:00 | Discover Quan Y Cave
Explore this historical wartime site hidden within a limestone mountain. Once a secret field hospital during the American War, the cave featured treatment rooms, recovery wards, and even a cinema for injured soldiers.

Enjoy a buffet lunch at the onboard restaurant before completing any final payments.

10:45 – 11:15 | Back to Tuan Chau Port
A tender will return guests to Waiting House No. 12, Tuan Chau Marina.

While the cruise sets sail toward Lan Ha Bay—a quieter extension of Halong Bay—guests are served lunch. The journey passes by iconic landmarks such as Finger Islet, Candle Islet, and countless limestone formations.

15:30 | Excursion to Tra Bau
Explore the scenic Tra Bau area by kayaking or swimming. This spot is also known as one of the filming locations for Kong: Skull Island (2018).

17:00 – 18:00 | Sunset Party & Cooking Demonstration
Back on board, enjoy a relaxing Sunset Party on the sundeck with tea, coffee, and the “Happy Hour” deal – Buy 2, Get 1 Free. A Vietnamese chef will also guide you in preparing traditional spring rolls, which you can enjoy afterward.

19:00 | Gala Dinner on the Sundeck (weather permitting)
Dine under the stars with a candlelit Vietnamese dinner on deck (subject to weather).

20:00 – 23:00 | Evening Entertainment
After dinner, enjoy the tranquil night scenery of Lan Ha Bay. Activities include bamboo dancing, the Footsteps of Heritage ethnic fashion show, squid fishing from the tender, herbal foot soak (one complimentary session per cabin), or optional services such as drinks at the Sky Bar and massage treatments.

The cruise anchors in a peaceful area for the night.

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – VIET HAI VILLAGE – CAT BA ISLAND

Start the day with a Tai Chi class on deck while enjoying the calm atmosphere of the bay. For sunrise views, wake up around 5:30–6:00 depending on the season.

06:30 – 07:15 | Light Breakfast
Tea, coffee, and pastries are served in the restaurant as the boat heads to the next destination.

08:30 | Visit Viet Hai Village – Cat Ba Island
Take a smaller boat through Lan Ha Bay to Viet Hai dock, then cycle about 5 km into the village nestled inside Cat Ba National Park. Guests preferring not to cycle may choose an electric car ride instead. The village remains pristine despite its growing popularity among international visitors.

The cruise anchors in a quiet, scenic area for lunch.

13:00 – 14:00 | Kayaking at Tai Queo Cave
Kayak through Tai Queo Cave with your guide, entering a hidden lake encircled by limestone cliffs, often called the “Dragon’s Eye.”

14:00 – 14:30 | Swimming at Ba Trai Dao
Relax and swim in the pristine waters of Ba Trai Dao Beach.

16:00 – 16:30 | Return to Amanda Luxury Cruise
Back on board, enjoy fresh fruit on the sundeck as the cruise sails past the anchorage area. Guests on the 3-day, 2-night itinerary can also enjoy the four-season pool or complimentary sauna.

Unwind with the Happy Hour sunset celebration and another cooking class, where the chef introduces more traditional Vietnamese dishes.
